It is with devastated hearts that we say goodbye to our sweet Granny, Delores May Morris, who
passed peacefully in her sleep on January 8, 2026.
Born December 5, 1932, to Stephen “Roscoe” and Minnie May Hogan, Delores was the “baby”
of five children. In high school she met the love of her life, Howard, unofficially known by some as the “Mayor of Ivanhoe,” she was “First Lady.” They shared 50 years together before his passing in 1998.
Delores was a devoted member of the Ivanhoe T.O.P.S. Club and a fixture at her church.
Humble and kind, she prayed for each family member by name and always parted with, “I love
you more.”
She leaves her large family here on earth to reunite in Heaven with her parents, siblings,
husband, son, and the five precious babies she has waited a lifetime to hold.
To a life well lived, “We love you most, Granny.”
