Dear friends and supporters,
Welcome to the seventh year of the Ivanhoe Sol!
Last year, our team made the intentional choice to slow down and build a strong foundation for continued success. This pause provided a much-needed break in the life of our project and allowed us to lay the groundwork for new partnerships and collaborations. We have also been working hard to secure funding to better support our Sol team while keeping the newspaper free—no small feat amid rising printing costs driven by U.S. tariffs on aluminum, a key material in the printing process.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to strengthen our online presence. While the Ivanhoe Sol will always stay true to its print roots, we recognize the importance of reaching readers near and far.
This month, we will launch a reinvigorated social media campaign on Facebook and Instagram. In addition, we are undergoing a rebranding effort to bring fresh energy to our logo and overall look.
