Durante años, el Consejo Comunitario de Ivanhoe se ha reunido regularmente para abordar muchas de las preocupaciones planteadas por los residentes de Ivanhoe. Sus actividades han variado desde abogar por más aceras hasta colaborar con el condado de Tulare para solicitar fondos dedicados a proyectos dentro de la comunidad. 

 

Avance a través de eventos de preparación para emergencias

En su reunión de abril, el Consejo Comunitario de Ivanhoe compartió que actualmente estamos trabajando para llevar un evento de preparación para emergencias a la comunidad en asociación con Self Help Enterprises. Walnut Grove Church ya acordó permitir que los grupos usen sus instalaciones. Aunque se ha asegurado una ubicación, las horas y fechas aún deben decidirse en junio. La logística y los detalles aún deben confirmarse, pero este evento está diseñado para brindar información valiosa a los residentes. Mejorando al jardín de rosas de la comunidad

Actualmente estamos trabajando para agregar un banco en el jardín de rosas de Ivanhoe para brindar a los residentes un lugar agradable para sentarse mientras disfrutan del jardín. Esto es posible a través del fondo Good Works del condado de Tulare y el apoyo continuo de nuestro supervisor del condado de Tulare, Eddie Valero.
