“Peaceful View”

Brenda Rivera recently entered an agriculture photo contest sponsored by Cal-West Rain. She asked friends and family along with community members to vote for her picture on Facebook. She received the most likes with 1,011 yet unfortunately was not chosen as the winner.

 

The picture she submitted is titled “peaceful view”. Brenda entered her photo into the contest to help share the beauty of the San Joaquin Valley. She is employed by Proteus Inc. and said, “Working in the past six years I have been inspired by the beauty of our agriculture to help farmworkers with the legacy of Cesar Chavez. Proteus Inc. is there to help the community not just in Ivanhoe but all over Tulare County including Fresno Kings and Kern County. Although I work in the finance department and not directly with participants, I care for the future of our community, specifically Ivanhoe because this is where my kids are growing. I like to share important information on the Ivanhoe page because social media has a huge impact in people’s lives and I can reach places I could never imagine.”
