Update on meeting location for the Ivanhoe Community Council

By Pedro Hernandez

Due to the recent developments with Coronavirus, Ivanhoe Elementary School is closed until April 13th to prevent community spread of the virus. The Ivanhoe Community Council has regularly met at the Elementary School Cafeteria but would still like to encourage community involvement in these meetings and to find a way to reliably provide updates on the various projects we are working on.

As a result, at least for the meetings in March and April, the Ivanhoe Community Council will broadcast their meetings over Facebook Live in an effort to make the meetings as accessible as possible during the recent “stay-at-home” order issued by Governor Newsom. We understand there may be some issues with the transition to streaming on Facebook but for any questions please reach out to Council President Mayra Bercerra at (559) 798-6195 or the “Ivanhoe Community Council Inc” page on Facebook for any questions. “The Ivanhoe Sol” Facebook Page will also broadcast the community meeting as well. There will be Spanish Translation as well.

The next meetings will be March 31st from 7pm-8pm and April 28th from 7pm-8pm. We invite everyone to join!
