Election Day is Nov. 8, and many Ivanhoe residents will cast their votes to decide the outcome of some 30 races and measures. Here are some tips to get ready.<\/p>\n

Can I still get a mail-in ballot?<\/b> Yes, the last day to request a mail-in ballot be sent to your house is Nov. 1. You can turn your completed vote-by-mail ballot in via the mail, but it must be postmarked on or before Election Day. You can also surrender a vote-by-mail ballot at any polling place or drop box before 8 p.m. on Election Day.<\/p>\n

Where do I vote on Election Day<\/b>? The Ivanhoe Memorial Hall at 33209 Hawthorne Road is one polling place, but there are many others around the county. You can register to vote at any one of these polling sites on Election Day. If you\u2019re already registered, you can get a ballot and fill it out there. If you have a vote-by-mail ballot, you can drop it off at Ivanhoe Memorial Hall, any polling place or any official drop box before 8 p.m.<\/p>\n

Am I registered to vote?<\/b> You can check to see if you\u2019re registered by using the My Voter Status database at voterstatus.sos.ca.gov<\/a>. It will ask for your name, date of birth, driver\u2019s license number and social security number. You can also call the Tulare County Registrar of Voters at (559) 624-7300 to check.<\/p>\n

Can I register to vote on Election Day? <\/b>Yes! Head to the Ivanhoe Memorial Hall or any polling location in Tulare County to receive a conditional ballot. Once your registration is confirmed, your ballot will be counted.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
