El grupo de pesca MB559 organiza el tercer encuentro y saludo en Ivanhoe

MB559 El grupo de pesca organizó su tercer evento Meet and Greet el pasado domingo 5 de septiembre de 2021 en el Boys and Girls Club de Ivanhoe.

 

 Fue un evento al aire libre gratuito de seis horas que comenzó a las 11 y terminó a las 6. Los miembros del grupo salieron y participaron en el Meet and Greet abierto a todos los que quisieron asistir. 

 

El evento estuvo repleto de actividades para los niños que asistieron. Una casa de brinco, toboganes de agua y un toro mecánico, tacos y un zoológico interactivo fueron algunas de las actividades de entretenimiento que se brindaron a los niños. El evento más destacado fue un estanque de pesca donde los niños podían salir y pescar su propio bagre. Diferentes patrocinadores se unieron para organizar este gran evento. El evento se publicó en línea con un fotomatón en línea y el hashtag # mb559mag2021 para que todos los asistentes pudieran subir sus fotos a un solo lugar.

 

¡Había tantas caritas emocionadas mientras balanceaban sus capturas! Los niños rodearon la piscina y esperaron pacientemente a que picara un pez. Los niños lanzaron sus cañas mientras los padres miraban emocionados con ellos. Cuando el pez no mordía, algunos miembros ayudaron para que los niños pudieran experimentar la emoción de pescar un bagre. Para algunos de los niños, esta fue la primera vez que pescaron. Los niños se tomaron fotos con orgullo con sus capturas. Para algunos de ellos, fue la primera vez que pescaba. Esta fue una oportunidad increíble para todos los que asistieron, ver a todos compartiendo en la comunidad fue un espectáculo bienvenido. 

 

El grupo que totaliza más de 15,200 miembros en Facebook ha seguido creciendo a medida que los miembros ven todo lo bueno que hace el grupo. En Facebook, se anima a los miembros de la página a publicar sus capturas y pedir consejos o preguntas en general sobre la pesca. Su página se enfoca en ser positivos y respetuosos entre sí mientras interactúan en la página. 

 

MB559 Fishing ha trabajado dentro del condado de Tulare sirviendo comida a nuestra población sin hogar, entregando juguetes para Navidad, entre otros proyectos para servir a nuestras comunidades. En abril, el grupo se convirtió en una organización oficial sin fines de lucro.

 

Cuando se les preguntó “¿por qué hacen lo que hacen?” Wanchai See, un administrador de grupo respondió, “queremos retribuir a nuestra comunidad, brindar oportunidades que pueden no estar disponibles para algunos, todo mientras se conectan a través de la pesca”. Añadió, “en el futuro, nos gustaría hacer eventos con niños que tienen autismo, así que hacer un día especial de pesca con amigos con personas en sillas de ruedas y discapacitados, también nos gustaría hacer una pesca con los veteranos”.
